S.F. assistant principal held in brothel case

A Galileo High School assistant principal was arrested late Thursday for his alleged role in the operation of at least two San Jose brothels, police said.

Gerald Courtney, 57, who has worked at the school district since 1988, was booked on charges of felony pimping and pandering. Police said no minors or other school officials were involved in the prostitution case.

During a four-month investigation, police allegedly found Courtney responsible for leasing apartments used for the brothels and creating Internet posts seeking prostitutes and customers, San Jose police Sgt. Mike Sullivan said.

A second suspect, Milpitas resident Hsiu Hwa Chou, also was arrested in the case. Chou, 41, allegedly was the madam of the brothels, Sullivan said. Two other suspects have been arrested on misdemeanor prostitution violations.

District officials said they were stunned by Courtney's arrest. Courtney has been put on paid administrative leave until the charges have been resolved, said district spokeswoman Gentle Blythe.

"He's a wonderful guy. I've known him for many years. He's extremely highly regarded," said school board President Mark Sanchez, moments after hearing of Courtney's arrest on Friday.

Sanchez said the district has renewed Courtney's contract in the past "without any reservation."

"I'm not going to believe it until I know more," Sanchez said. "I hope it's a mistake. I hope it's not true."

School has been fun so has not living in san francisco.
Wednesday night i went to andreas new friend laurens house and that was funny. Girls need girl time i guess. After we all went to the hemlock, what a relief cause i saw tons of people i knew. Cody, sandy dinah, finally beatrice came and it turned out to be pretty fun. The traditional fools played i hadnt seen them in a while. ran into teddy and kate on my to whiskey thieves and was stressed the fuck out being rushed to get to pops before last call. i had no desire to go there, when i finally get in a cab to go there we end up coming right fucking back to the tenderloin. I was annoyed, i slept at andreas house, left my bike at laurens.
The next day i had Yor a pal practice with alexis which was great. and then i went to ramonas for a lil.
After all i ended up being on the radio with Betty for her show at west add. It was funfunfun. then i went to andreas and watched tv with her and nick.
after i woke up super hungover i started my daily youtubeing with this shit,,,

i cant wait to move to newyork
